sucks that it didn’t say at the end that i got all 4 achievements in that one game but it still felt great completing that!

Well I think gambling for the egg at the start is a good tactic and you probably already know that you need to prioritize chests so to make that easier you should always try to branch out but ı agree with you there is no fullproof way of clearing the board all the time rng can always ruin it
I think that is statistically impossible you definitely need the heart scrolls from the lovers in order to clear the board. Sorry I'm going to stay skeptical until further explanation
Unfortunately I don’t have proof but it took me a very very many runs to get it because you need to get lucky a lot for chests and scrolls.
Also, I think you misunderstood my comment. I definitely used the lovers to clear the board but only after I killed the dragon and got the first three achievements.
I will say I spent over an hour on that one run because, especially at the end when I didn’t have a lot of hearts, I would patiently do test cases. Basically, I’d use the book and come up with all the combinations of leftover creatures within a given area (say a 2 by 2) to see which would contradict the board. That helped me progress quite a few times. And I was lucky enough to have enough coins to reset after killing the dragon, so clearing the board was trivial after that bcs I still had R&J.

ending? I only ever got the "nothing but blood in the desolate field"
ending. I've gotten all achievements already.
I've tried winning without exploding the mines, but still desolate field. I've tried winning the 1.0.0 version, without board clear, and the image is the same as "celebrating men" (jorge killing the dragon), but with a different poem.
The ending image of "desolate field" is the same as the board clear stamp, which makes me think that maybe after you get your first board clear, the ending is always going to be "desolate field". Which is sad if true, because i cleared the board on my first win, my third ever run.
Really enjoyed the game. I've been playing for days now. And today I finally killed the dragon. The game is a little bit hard. Putting more buffs for the player would make it easier. Very polished game. Well done!

Did you kill the gnome by revealing all empty squares? Did you kill the mine king and blow up all mines? Wizard (aka slime king) which drops the slime scroll?
I think that you only get it on your first clear, so after you clear it for the second time onwards you get the "Nothing but blood", I have gotten the the first ending multiple times, but only when I am logged out and on a different computer.
It credits "Daniel Benmergui" in the description. But the site is clearly not made by him. There is no link or mention of itch.io or any payment form.
The description was obviously written by an AI that doesn't know anything about the game other than the name and the tips in the monsternomicon. No one that played it for more than 10 seconds would write that.
Also, the version in the homepage is the old one. The new one is available through the menu, with a similarly AI-generated description with made-up wrong information and self-contradictions.
It's an automatically generated site. Whoever did this must be doing it with tons of other games too. I don't know why. There doesn't seem to be any ads (yet?).
plz expand this game... I'm addicted to it, but I just wish there was more to it. Ideally new modes with different monsters, but even just another page of stamps would sate me
Absolutely. Finding the chests with the exp before you have to take heart scrolls is key. Also getting the mine scroll as soon as you turn level 10 and picking up the free exp from the now defused bombs.
This version is too hard. Need more hearts earlier. Also the right click to mark the tiles is not working on my iPad. Please put the 10 back in a corner.
Finally got all three of these achievements in one go!!
I wish I could get the achievement and then go back because I would also have been able to clear the board and it would have been really satisfying to get all 4 at once.
Also I’m pretty sure for the rat pacifist, killing the rat king doesn’t stop you from getting the achievement (I challenged myself to not kill him in this run) which is counter intuitive imo.

Could you make a reset button so that once you beat the game and/or get all stamps you could reset completely losing all stamps.
I think you can just clear your cache/cookies and it should reset

I just had a perfect game, but couldn't clear the walls. Is total board clear possible here?

also, once you have 13 hearts, you can kill the dragon and collect 13 exp without ending the game

but now it's just a 10. The 11 is now the bomb remover.
the 11 is the mimic. the mine king (called the Lich in an older version of the game), who destroys all the mines, is the 10 in the corner
